In The Mix with AL3 TB!: How would you describe the genre/style of entertaining that you do what should people expect to hear when they come to your gig? AL3: All the gigs that I do are different, so at one gig you may hear me drop hip-hop, but at another gig it may be more Latin music and the best gigs are when I can drop a little bit of everything. TB!: Describe your audience, the people who follow you from gig-to-gig. AL3: My audience differs from event to event; I am very blessed that I have been able to crossover to a wide range of audiences. The common denominator that they all have is the desire to see a DJ that puts on a show, on the mic and on the wheels of steel. TB!: Describe your first gig, the very first time you were in front of a crowd, doing what you do. AL3: It was at a pizza parlor and I was horrible, but my whole family showed up to support me, thank you familia for sitting through such an ordeal! TB!: What do you do for down time? AL3: Spend time with the love of my life, my beautiful daughter, Athena. TB!: Some people say music has changed over time. What's your take on it – where do you think it will go over the next five years? AL3: The music is no longer fun, and I hope in five years it returns to the days of having a blast and enjoying life through music. TB!: How do you know when you are "on a roll" when the crowd is in the palm of your hand? AL3: I know I am on a roll when I can drop music out of left field and the crowd still keeps grooving or when I have a group of people watching me rock the 1s & 2s.
